1963 Epiphone Sorrento
- Sunburst
EX; Sunburst; All orginal except the RW bridge top (original would be ABR-1) and in very nice condition; blue tag inside with same serial as on HS; has oval fret-markers (started in ’62); single-line Kluson Deluxes with ivory buttons (these are worth $200+ alone); trapeze tail; 3-ply white pickguard with Epsilon ’E’; 2 gold bonnet knobs; there is a 4-inch surface crack down near jack, a slight crack where one strap button is, and light checking throughout; finish is EX, with a little missing paint at top of HS; one piece mahogany neck has a little fret wear in 1’st position, not bad; plays really great, thin neck; this is an undervalued guitar, with the single mini-humbucker; case is a new HS Epiphone; thin body; light and comfortable!! Was set up by a luthier recently, who did a little fret work, and IT PLAYS AMAZING, LIKE BUTTER!
